Format Settings
Show Attribute Labels
This setting displays the CBC attribute text either to the left of the concepts or inside of each concept.
Mobile Layout
This controls what happens to the CBC task when it is viewed on a mobile device (or a small screen). The options include:
oSwipe concepts horizontally - One concept is displayed at a time. To navigate to different concepts the respondent swipes right or left.
oSwipe concepts vertically - Once concept is displayed at a time. To navigate to different concepts the respondent swipes up or down.
oMaintain desktop layout - Do not change the task on mobile devices. The CBC task is displayed the same as it is on larger desktop screens.
Show Concept Labels
This option allows you to enter text above each CBC concept. The concept labels are for helping the respondent navigate the different concepts. Concept labels must be generic labels for concepts (such as "Option 1", "Alternative B", etc.) that would NOT convey specific meaning that could impact preferences for concepts. No utility is estimated for concept labels (no Alternative Specific Constants), so it would be a big mistake to put brand names or other labels here that convey preference meaning to respondents.
