How are part worth utilities estimated for Must Haves or unacceptables in ACBC?

Could you please explain how the attributes which are selected as unacceptables or must haves are estimated in ACBC?

When a level is declared as unacceptable (within the Screening Section), then all choice tasks (within the Screening Section) that involve that level that are still remaining to be seen by that respondent are at that moment "answered" for the respondent (as if the respondent had seen those remaining tasks and answered consistently each time that a concept including the unacceptable level would be rejected).  Then, responses to the choice tasks (both actually answered by respondents or inferred from unacceptable declarations) are coded as usually done to estimate the utilities (as in binary logit coding for the Screening Section).

The must-haves, a similar thing is done.  The remaining questions that include levels other than that must-have level that would have been shown to respondents within the Screening Section are in that moment "answered" for the respondent as if the respondent had rejected any of those concepts.
