display last few digits of previous password after entering username

We have a survey that's conducted by interviewers. The passwords are setup so that the interviewer would enter sequential passwords for each interview.

A simple example: Interviewer Don would have username "Don" and when he conducts his first interview the password would be "123001" (interviewer ID and sequential number). His second interview would have password "123002" etc. Since each of our interviewers conducts a few dozen interviews in a three-month period, it can become difficult for them to remember what the sequential number in the password is.

Is there anyway to display the last few digits of the previous password they used after they enter their username? That way they would know which one to enter in the sequence.
