What is the difference between Value() and GetValue() fuction?

I am just curious about when it is more appropriate to use Value() or GetValue() function although I usually get the same result by using either of them.

These functions are very much the same.

"Value" was used in the earlier days of Sawtooth Software.

Over the years, Sawtooth Software changed it to "GetValue".

They both work in the latest versions of Sawtooth Software.
