Redirect only some respondents at the end of the survey

Hello all,

I have a survey which can be accessed by both general public and respondents from a hired respondent panel. In the end of the survey, I want to redirect the users coming from that panel to a certain URL, but I don't want to bother the other ones, so I'll have to pay attention to if there are any pass-in variables in the original URL of the survey. So far, so good. The doubts arrive when I try to use the skip logic: I have 2 Terminate / Link questions in a row (the first one terminates the respondents and presents them with an acknowledgment message, so it must be always presented, while the second is intended to be presented only to the panel's respondents - it's not a real question, it only redirects them to the URL). Since Terminate / Link questions cannot be skipped from (nor to), I ask if there is an alternate approach to this that I'm not unfolding.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give,
João Fernandes

Have the panel company add another variable, like "s" for source.  If it's a panel respondent, have s=1.  Then on the last page of your survey say if s=1, skip to the second terminate/link.  General public users will not have a value for s and will continue on to the first terminate/link page.

Hello Brian, thanks for the prompt reply,

I don't think that the variable "s" is needed, since I have three pass-in variables that are only used when the survey is presented to the panel users (I forgot to clearly mention that in my original post, sorry). That being written, it's easy to see when I have to skip or not a question.

I have modified my survey, having now the first Terminate / Link question, that acknowledges and terminates the public users, and have unfolded the second Terminate / Link question into a Text / HTML Filler one, plus the second Terminate/ Link question. If I have the pass-in variables filled, I'll know that these are panel users and I'll skip that first Terminate / Link question, present the panel users with a Text / HTML Filler "question" that acknowledges them, and then the survey proceeds to the second Terminate / Link question, which simultaneously terminates and redirects the panel users. I hope I was not confusing explaining myself. It seems to be working. Thanks again for your reply, which brought me to think things again, redefine them in my head. and try a different approach!
