AIC is acting strangly

I have two questions in my study:

Q1: Which of these do you like? (checkbox)

Q2: Of those you like, which do you like best? (radio button)
        Q2 is a constructed list [% AIC(Q1List) %]

I swear that I have used this dozens (hundreds?) of times and normally when only 1 item is selected in Q1 then Q2 auto-populates and does not appear. However, today, Q2 is showing up. Did something change on your end or did I greatly mess something up somehow?

If you are using AIC in your constructed list, should you be using this ...

 [% AIC(Q1) %]

instead of this ...

 [% AIC(Q1List) %]

Refer to the question and not the list.

It is exactly this:
AIC(developmentPriorities)

 in the constructed list.

*****EDIT*** I figured out what it was. Q2 did not require a response. As soon as I changed that, boom.
