How can I Analyse number of units purchased?

I understand Sawtooth helps simulate Preference Shares by reading whether the SKU on shelf was purchased or not in a binary manner.

I would like to understand if Sawtooth is capable of also simulating Unit Shares by reading how many units of an SKU were purchased along with its Preference Share.

Kindly help me understand if and how the volumetric analysis can be done using Sawtooth.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible to run volumetric CBC using Sawtooth Software.  Tom Eagle provides a nice overview of volumetric methods in his paper in the 2010 Sawtooth Software Conference Proceedings, which are available here:  https://sawtoothsoftware.com/support/technical-papers/conference-proceedings/proceedings2010

All the methods require you to reformat your data and run the analysis in CBC/HB.

For the method Tom describes as Synthetic None, we have a helpful script for volumetric CBC available for download here:  https://sawtoothsoftware.com/support/downloads/tools-scripts

How do I further normalize these weights which are nothing but the maximum volume purchased by each respondent?
