Can alternative-specific designs be administered with paper-and-pencil?

With prohibitions, CBC shows deficient design. If we go with ASD, could we run the study with paper and pencil, or does it have to be online?

Designs with alternative specific attributes were conducted via paper and pencil for many years before there was online interviewing, so it is certainly something you can do.  I've done many of these myself.  You'll probably want to limit your number of versions to ease the administrative burden on yourself, but this is entirely feasible.
