Does the "none" utility stand on its own or does it affect other weights?

Hi there! I understand how the "none" utility is generated, but as I was explaining it to others I just want to be clear on if the none is calculated independently or if it does affect other attributes/levels weights?

None is it's own parameters.  It is uniquely the utility of the none alternative and no other utilities contribute to it or are contributed to by it.
