Multiselect Dropdown not working as expected

Hi ,

I am using  Multiselect Dropdown from Library  and the problem is when we hit mutually excl response option the sum show negative and if we unselect and select multiple time then it negative value keeps increasing. Can someone please advise how to control this.

The code in those comments is for a checkbox select.
