auto-complete dropdown issue

I'm using the auto-complete dropdown from the Question Library and having an odd thing happen that has not occurred when I've used this before.  When you put your mouse over the box a little translucent looking checkbox appears below the dropdown box.  Did something change with the script that needs to be adjusted?

Hi Jay,

I am facing the same issue of the checkbox appearing when you mouse-over the dropdown.  It appears over the list displayed so is a bit annoying.

Did you manage to solve this?  @Zach I don't think it is a jquery-UI reference issue (everything works fine, just that a check box appears below the dropdown box if you mouse-over it).

I did not resolve this.  Until it is resolved I just removed the auto-complete functionality of the dropdown.  Sorry I couldn't be of help.

That is quite peculiar behavior.  It is possibly a bug within jQuery UI, but I would need to look deeper to get a better idea of exactly what's happening.

Although not ideal, one workaround could be to load up a working version of jQuery UI.  Try adding this to your select question's header:

<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.12.4.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.12.1/jquery-ui.min.js"></script>

If you were to go this route, I would recommend downloading those .js folders above, adding them to your study's graphics folder, and then having the HTML reference the file from the graphics folder rather than from online.
