Upload .csv file with Covariates in CBC HB analysis

Hello everybody,

I managed to conduct a MaxDiff HB Estimation in the CBC HB module. No I would like to add covariates to the estimation.
If I understand correctly, I "just" need to go to "Data files"  and upload a .csv file under "Demographic data".
I created a .csv file with two columns and headers. In the first column there are the respondent IDs. In the second column there are integer numbers (1-5) which are country codes.
However I get the following error:
"[...]The file may be corrupted or have non-numeric values (excluding the header row).
More information: On or near line 2: One or more fields cannot be converted to numbers."

Can anybody spot a mistake in what I did? Which format and structure should the .csv file have?

Thank you very much in advance!

Most likely the problem is that the .csv file is not formatted for the region from the CBC/HB settings.  From the menu, select Edit | Preferences and check the setting for the CSV region.
