Adding covariates or filtering criteria to a file imported from a panel

Hi Keith and Team,

You've explained very well how to create a choice file from a panel vendor who has scripted an experiment generated from a sawtooth choice design, however I want to append covariate or filtering data to this file. where is the correct place to put this information so that the choice file is read correctly and the additional information available in the survey is available to be used as filtering or segmentation variables or covariates?

Inside the Lighthouse software, go to DAta>View/Edit Data and then on the right hand side of the window there's an icon for adding data fields.  Add as many as you need.  For each one add a name and provide details about whether the variable is categorical or continuous and hit OK.  This adds new columns into which you can past your data from Excel.
