Hidden attribute

Hi everyone,
I would like to know if anyone can help me understand how I should do this,

My client wants to know the importance and share of preference of the brand of him in relation to the competitors, only the brand, so I have only one attribute and by statistical issues the software does not allow, how to solve this?

I thought about creating a dummy attribute, but I'm not sure if I should do this without negatively affecting the project CBC and preventing me from analyzing

If someone can help me I will be very grateful

Best regards

If brand is your only attribute then you'll have to vary brand availability (i.e. each question will contain just a subset of your brands).   I suppose you could trick the CBC software to do this by adding an attribute that only showed blanks and then excluding that second attribute from the analysis.

You might find it easier to design and analyze this as a MaxDiff experiment.
